Profile-based settlement
Settlement for smaller consumers based on standard load profiles, with no capacity charge and higher volumetric tariff rates.
Profile-based settlement is the settlement for smaller consumers (≤55.2 kW), where there is no 15-minute metering — consumption is allocated based on standard load profiles. There is no capacity charge, but the volumetric tariff rates are higher than with time-series settlement.
An important case: if a profile-based customer does provide 15-minute data from a sub-meter, a simulation can be run on it, but the settlement and the tariff rates remain profile-based.
Tariff differences between the two settlement types: Network usage charges.
